When in Marlow

First things first

Our Marlow boutique sits in a charming Grade II listed building which once belonged to engineer, Edwin Clark. One of the most unique features of the building is a beautiful fireplace. An amalgamation of eras, it has been added to throughout the centuries as a decorative mantelpiece to a fully functional fireplace. Coffee Break

Fego is a space made for relaxation, serving artisanal coffee and cakes, plus breakfast and lunch offerings, all with a South African twist.

Local tip

Albion House on 104 West Street was once home to Percy and Mary Shelley, who took residence here in 1817. Mary Shelley had started writing Frankenstein in Switzerland in 1816 and completed the majority of the novel when they returned from the continent at this address in Marlow.

You can’t miss talking a walk along the Thames in this riverside town. A walk down to the scenic lock with great views across the weir and to the church and bridge is ideal for a moment of calm.
